The Kyushu region, southwestern Japan saw heavy rain on Monday, July 6 after unprecedented downpours battered and left significant damages in the region's southern prefectures of Kumamoto and Kagoshima on the weekend. The rain continued not only in the flood-battered southern Kyushu but also in northern prefectures on Monday.
