Alcazabar of Antequera, Andalusia, Spain - HD stock video
A drone video of the Moorish Castle of Antequera in Spain's southern Malaga province. An austere reminder of the history of Southern Spain, during the Muslim occupation of this region in the 14th century, felt the need for a fortified castle amidst advances by the Christians from the North. It was built on Roman ruins. Subsequently, the town was conquered by Prince Ferdinand of Aragon. Today the village has grown around the landscape of the Castle's location, sprawling out in all directions from the hill upon which it sits. The imposing and beautiful Peña de los Enamorados, a giant crag, sits in the distant background to the right.
