Urban forestation alongside of Lyari Expressway, Karachi, Pakistan - stock photo

Down there in the Lyari River bed, alongside of Lyari Expressway passing by Mirza Adam Khan Road, in the old city area of Mira Naka, the ongoing development can be observed for urban forestation being cultivated over delta and the Lyari River bed / land in Karachi, Pakistan. Initially, the project spreads over the land between Mauripur and Mira Naka bridges which is to be gradually extended further, throughout to Sohrab Goth -other end of the expressway, besides Mauripur. One of the worker from the Forest Department, Sindh, is busy watering the planted neem trees which have already grown to a significant height.
