Ooi Dam: A dam constructed in the middle reaches of the Kiso River in Ena City, Gifu Prefecture. This dam was completed in 1924, Japan's first concrete dam for water power generation. Height 53.38 m, crest length 275.76 m. The dam sends water to Kansai Electric Power Co., Inc.'s Ooi power plant and Shin-Ooi power plant to generate a maximum of 84,000 kilowatts of electricity.
