Raisting Earth Station (German: Erdfunkstelle Raisting) since 1963 is a satellite ground station near the village of Raisting, Bavaria. The station was Germany's first station for satellite communication and is still one of the largest ground stations in the world. The system allowed the satellite communications between Europe and North America for the first time and was also used for the Apollo moon landing.
