The scene was captured in the morning of the 1 st of December of 2024. The image shows a typical scene of the pristine sandy beaches along the banks of one of the Negro rivers' hundreds of islands along its side arms, with bright white sandy beaches along the banks during the extreme drought of 2024, in the Anavilhanas Natural Park, on the island beach known as Baranoa, near Novo Airao. The region known as Anavilhanas is one of the many unique attractions in the Amazon region, as the Negro river spreads out over hundreds of kilometres and numerous side arms with more than 400 hundred islands, most pristine and untouched nature. The image was captured visiting the region of Novo Airao, which lies on the right bank of the Negro river upriver from Manaus, at the edge of the Anavilhanas National Park in the state of Amazonas. The park is part of the Central Amazon Conservation Complex, registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site
