Construction Of A New Tennis Stadium For Roland Garros In Paris

Established in the Bois de Boulogne near Paris since 1928 the Roland-Garros stadium which hosts the second major international tennis and Olympic site for the games of 2024 needed an expansion and a major renovation, works that will last until 2020. At five months of the Tournament of Roland Garros 2018 the sports complex located Porte d'Auteuil is in big building site. While the Suzanne Lenglen is getting a makeover, a new 2,200-seat semi-underground court is under construction, as is the future court Simonne-Mathieu, which should be ready for the 2019 tournament.
