Tibetan activists in exile shout anti-Chinese slogans after they were stopped by the Sikkim police at the West Bengal-Sikkim interstate border in Rangpo on March 25, 2008 as police denied them entry into Sikkim on their way towards the Indo-Chinese border at Nathu-La. Police in the Indian state of Sikkim denied entry to members of a peace march made up of Tibetan activists, who had departed from the city of Siliguri, with the intention of marching to the Chinese border at Nathu-La. Some 120 activists started an indefinite hunger strike pressing the Sikkim government to allow them to carry on their march to Nathu-La.
