Northern Ireland - A Fragile Peace

Originally built in 1969 most of the so called peace walls are still intact and indeed neccessary to provide shelter from attack from opposing sides even after the Good Friday Peace agreement was signed in 1998. Voters in Northern Ireland will go to the polls on March 2nd following the collapse of the Assembly power sharing executive government which has been in place since the Good Friday peace agreement.
