The King and Queen of Spain and Ibero-Am

SALAMANCA, Spain: The King and Queen of Spain and Ibero-American leaders and their wifes, greet a crowd from the city hall's balcony at Salamanca's Plaza Mayor, 14 October 2005. A total of 22 countries will be taking part in the XV Ibero-American Summit here, as will United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan, as they bid to tackle issues such as immigration, terrorism, poverty and natural disasters, as well as trans-Atlantic links between Latin America and Spain, Portugal and Andorra.
