United Nations Protection Forces Commander General Philippe Morillon
The French general Philippe Morillon looks at a map with a Spanish colonel, in the briefing room of his residence. General Morillon was United Nations Protection Forces second commander, before his status of Commander in Bosnia and Herzegovina, from October 1992 to July 1993, as general of the divisions and later for the army corps. His headquarters were set in a disused thermal hotel in Kiseljak, a small town located west of Sarajevo, at the intersection of the roads still opened to traffic leading to Mostar in the South and both Vitez and Tuzla, in the North.
