The Grave of Producer Mike Todd Defiled

The defiled grave of movie producer Mike Todd is checked by policemen Richard Bisluk (L) and Robert Kutak after it was discovered that Todd's coffin was empty 6/26. A woman visiting another grave at Waldheim cemetery found the open grave and called police. Police said the lid of the casket had been torn back and a rubber bag containing Todd's body had been removed. Todd was killed in a 1958 plane crash and his body was burned beyond recognition. He was married to Elizabeth Taylor at the time of the crash.
