Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev pounds his fist against the podium while addressing the United Nations General Assembly in Manhattan, New York City, 23rd September 1960. The Soviet Premier is calling for the resignation of UN Secretary General Dag Hammarskjold. Khrushchev is angered by the way the UN forces have intervened in the recent trouble in former Belgian Congo.
