Senior citizen David Toren(L) ask for a few tips on how to use his walking cane for self-defense in an acient self defense art now being called "Cane-Fu", on April 10, 2009 at a senior citizen home in Salisbury, Maryland. Mitchell, and his team, volunteer their time to seniors teaching the basics in "Cane-Fu", a non-deadly self-defense technique that uses the crook(the curved part of the cane), to help seniors fend-off attackers who only see a cane as a sign of weakness, but if used properly turns into a impressive weapon and builds self-confidence for seniors.
