Santa Monica, CA. Hunter Conrad 13years old holds the collar that remains of Sugar the missing family rabbit. The Conrad family brought Sugar to their Santa Monica home nearly two years ago. The rabbit took up residence in a vacant lot next to their house and became a fixture of their quiet neighborhood, as nannie and parents brought children in their strollers to watch Sugar behind a fence. The rabbit has been missing for 10 days now while the rabbit napper took off its collar to leave behind, which seems like an ominous sign to the owners.
