Philips field service engineers Kirit Patel, left, and Ron Witschy work in the partially-finished Philips MRI room, which offers the ""ambient"" experience to patients July 15, 2014 at the construction site of the new UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay in San Francisco, Calif. The new imaging department will be offering specialized rooms that are designed to help patients reduce anxiety associated with the scanning process. There will be three different themed rooms featuring familiar bay area scenes: muir woods, the marina and the cable cars.
