John Lewan and Joseph Colombo Being Arraigned
12/1934 -New York :Patrolman Lewan and Joseph colombo were arraigned under guard of police officers to answer to a charge of burglary. Lewan And Colunbo were arrested by Sgt. Chas. Kenney of the Elizabeth St. Station. He found them in uniform, off thier beats and out of their precinct, standing in front of a cafe owned by Colombo's brother. Scores of boxes of candy were found in a sedan parked at the curb and Columbo is said to have claimed ownership of the car.
