The muppet show in Wuhua County is a traditional dramatic art, which was introduced from Fujian Province in the early Ming Dynasty. With a history of more than 600 years, the muppet show in Wuhua County was listed in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage in June 2008. In recent years, the muppet show in Wuhua County has added difficult stunts into their performance and improved performing skills in a creative way.
