Funeral Held For Newark Firefighter Augusto Acabou, Who Died In Cargo Ship Fire

NEWARK, NEW JERSEY - JULY 13: Motorcycle police join firefighters and mourners for the funeral of Newark firefighter Augusto Acabou who lost his life with fellow firefighter Wayne Brooks Jr. while battling a cargo ship fire at Port Newark last week on July 13, 2023 in Newark, New Jersey. The service, which was held at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, included area politicians and dozens of firefighters and police from surrounding communities.
