WASHINGTON, UNITED STATES: Military boots, US flags and flowers, part of the traveling exhibit "Eyes Wide Open: The Human Cost of War", are packed at the National Christian Church 21 January 2005 in Washington, DC, prior to being shipped for the next stop on the 50 plus city tour. The collection includes 1,000 pair of civilian shoes and 1,371 pair of military boots either purchased, donated or handed over directly by family members of service men and women who were killed in the ongoing war in Iraq.
