Vintage Car Enthusiasts May Lose Their Meeting Place
UPPER MARLBORO, MD- AUG 24: Owners of this night club (called Nipseys Restaurant) in Marlboro Square have been pushing for a local car meet-up group to stop meeting in the parking lot near their business in Upper Marlboro, Maryland on August 24, 2022. They claim that the car group is meeting in the parking lot illegally. A group of (mostly vintage) car enthusiasts have been meeting for10 years at the same spot at Marlboro Square. But a new nightclub owner who moved into the shopping center is trying to get the "Hump Day Car Meet & Cruise-In" shut down so that the owner can host nightclub events in the parking lot instead.
