JET PACK JAY FLIES NEXT TO CUNARD'S QUEEN MARY 2 AS SHE PREPARES TO SAIL TO HALIFAX,
Jay St John flies close to Queen Mary 2 on July 05, 2015 in Liverpool, England. Champion flyboarder Jay St John donned a Cunard Bell Boy's uniform to welcome Queen Mary 2 to Liverpool where the flagship was celebrating the 175th anniversary to the day of the first regular transatlantic service being established on 4 July 1840 by Cunard's first ship, Britannia. Two celebratory concerts for passengers and local dignitaries marked the big anniversary at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and fireworks will give Queen Mary 2 a big send off as the ship sails tonight for North America. The ship has 2,600 passengers on board, 400 of whom embarked in Liverpool for the transatlantic crossing for the first time in nearly 50 years. Queen Mary 2 will sail from Liverpool to Halifax and Boston as did the first Cunard ship, before the voyage concludes in New York.
