Jason Hubbard (C) and other pallbears carry the casket of his younger brother, Army Corporal Nathan Hubbard, who was killed earlier this month in a Black Hawk helicopter crash, 31 August 2007, for funeral services at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Fresno, California. Nathan is Jason Hubbard's second brother to died in Iraq; his middle brother Marine Lance Corporal Jared Hubbard was killed near Fallujah in 2007 by a roadside bomb. Jason Hubbard, as the family's last remaining son, has been removed from dangerous duty as part of the army's sole survivor policy to prevent families from losing all their children in a war.
