Inmates Celebrate Mother's Day With Their Mothers At Changchun's Tiebei Prison

CHANGCHUN, CHINA - MAY 11: (CHINA OUT) Inmates reunite with their mothers during a ceremony held at the Tiebei Prison to celebrate Mother's Day May 11, 2007 in Changchun of Jilin Province, China. The prison invited 40 mothers of inmates to attend the ceremony with their son. China is working to improve education in prisons, helping prisoners return to society as law-abiding citizens. Figures released in March showed that 95.15 percent of the country's 1.5 million inmates received vocational training last year, of which 65.82 percent were awarded certificates, according to state media.
