Indian Soldier Three Militants killed In Kashmir Suicide Attack On Paramilitary Camp
SRINAGAR, KASHMIR, INDIA - OCTOBER 03: Indian military forces take position during a gun battle between suspected militants and them on October 3, 2017, in Srinagar, the summer capital of Indian administered Kashmir, India. An Indian soldier and three militants were killed in a suicide attack on a paramilitary camp in Indian-administered Kashmir, after suspected rebels on Tuesday attacked a Border Security Force (BSF) camp near the Srinagar international airport, police said. The insurgents attacked 182 battalion camp of the BSF near the Srinagar international airport early on Tuesday. Police believe the militants were "Pakistan trained". The group, Jaish-e-Mohammad, has said it carried out the attack. Flight operations, which were suspended on Tuesday morning, have resumed. Roads leading to the airport, which were sealed off earlier, have also reopened. The camp is located just outside the international airport in Srinagar, which is a heavily fortified area.
