BAGHDAD, Iraq: Head of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Hareth al-Dari shakes hands with French Ambassador Bernard Bajolet during the funeral of three prominent Muslims assassinated yesterday prior to their burial at the Umm al-Qura mosque in Baghdad 20 July 2005. Three prominent members of the Sunni Muslim community were assassinated yesterday as they drove in their car from a restaurant. They are Dhamin Hussein and Aziz Ibrahim, both among 15 Sunni Arabs from outside parliament invited to work on the panel drafting Iraq's new constitution, and a top aide, Mijbil Alshiekh Isa. The assassinations came hours after President Jalal Talabani predicted the likely completion of the new Iraqi constitution ahead of schedule.
