Harry Hyde - NASCAR Crew Chief

UNKNOWN — Late-1960s: Harry Hyde learned to be a mechanic while serving in the Army in World War II. He joined forces with car owner Nord Krauskopf in late 1965 to field cars on the NASCAR Cup circuit, and eventually won the 1970 Cup title with driver Bobby Isaac. Hyde is also known as being crew chief for driver Tim Richmond and Rick Hendrick Motorsports from 1985 through 1987, as the team scored nine Cup victories during the span.
