Greek ultra-marathon runner Yiannis Kouros on route to Melbourne after leaving Parklea Markets at 11am. . .Kouros will try to beat the competitors in the Westfield ultra-marathon which Kouros did not start due to an argument over money. . .Pictured on the Hume Highway with 833km to go . . . . .The ***** Kouros, may be making a stand against a multi-million-dollar corporation with his rebel run to Melbourne, but organisers of the official Westfield Run are having the last laugh.The race's executive director, Mr. Chris Bates, has even offered a vote of thanks to Kouros, the man who has won the Westfield Run five times but refused to enter ***** the $100,000 race this year because his request for $83,427 in appearance money and expenses was knocked back."We couldn't get Yiannis for $100,000 but he's helped us with publicity for free", said Mr. Bates.
