JUN 8 1967, JUN 12 1967 Governor Honors Elementary School Color Guard in Ceremony Color guards from three elementary schools were honored last week in the State Capitol office of Gov. John Love. Flags have been placed in all classrooms of Denver's 200 elementary schools by American Legion Post No. 1 and U.S. Marines. Color guards for this Flag Day ceremony were: Greenlee School, in white helmets with dark stripe; Brown School, girls wearing berets and boys in dark helmets with letter "B," and St. Bernadette School, five boys in rear wearing white shirts. Denver's Flag Day celebration will feature parade and an address by Lt. Gen. Lewis W. Walt, who for the past two years, has been commander of Marines in Vietnam.
