BUJUMBURA, BURUNDI: French adventurer and construction engineer, Patrice Faye, 50, holds 29 March 2005 one of the pythons from his reptile farm in Bujumbura, Burundi, part of a collection comprising crocodiles, a boa constrictor and vipers. The self-styled herpetologist and conservationist who started collecting an assortment of reptiles 27 years ago, admits that he has yet to capture of a legendary 23-foot man-eating crocodile from the Rusizi river that is famed for its wits in eluding capture as much as the number of people it has killed.
