Four year old Shane Donnely joins his father and the Dublin Fire Brigade during a mass protest in central Dublin, against the Government's approach to the economic crisis on February 21, 2009. At least 50,000 workers staged a protest march against the government's economic austerity measures that is organised by the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (ICTU) among others. The protesters are particularly opposed to a pension levy on some 350,000 public servants which is designed to save about 1.4 billion euros (1.8 million dollars) this year.
