Four Mile Canyon residents William Bradshaw, left and Alex Rivera console one another during the press conference. The pair live on Dime Road up Four Mile Canyon and moved into the area June 25th of 2010. They have no idea if it burned or not. They were at 6th and Canyon in Boulder at the morning press briefing to hear about what is going on at the fire, today, September 8th, 2010. Laura McConnell, Information Officer with the Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team spoke with members of the media as well as concerned home owners about the fire. She said that the size of the fire has been downsized from 7,200 acres to 6,168 acres which they found out last night by using infra-red imaging. 54 residences have burned.
