Former Agence France-Presse journalist Xavier Baron poses on August 20, 2014 at his house in Montlucon, central France. Baron is the author of the book "Le monde en direct" (The world in live) which will be published by Editions La Decouverte on August 28, 2014. Baron's book traces 180 years of the Agence France-Presse (AFP), from the Havas agency founded in 1835 and relaunched during the liberation of Paris by a group of eight journalists resistant who will turn it into the Agence Francaise de Presse, which soon became the Agence France-Presse.
