Egypt, Ramses II, speos temple of Abu Simbel, Nubia. Before the facade of the speos temple in the mountain, four colossus' of Ramses II stand guard. Here, the king wears the double crown over the Nemes headdress, as well as the fake, striped beard. The voluntarily stocky aspect of the faces and bodies, revealed by photogrammetry, confirms the Pharaohnic sculptors' acquaintance with perspective. Sandstone. XIXth dynasty. Le roi porte ici la double-couronne pschent par-dessus la coiffe némès, ainsi que la barbe postiche striée horizontalement.
