APR 14 1981, APR 16 1981 Don't Walk Through The Construction Zone Denver's 16th Street transitway/mall is billed as an oasis for pedestrians and a mecca for shoppers after completion next year. Work recently began on blocks between Champa and California Streets, and a temporary "Don't Walk" sign on a four-by-four post was placed at the Intersection of 16th and California Streets.
