Guangdong Han Opera, one of the top three operas in Guangdong, was once called âWaijiang Operaâ, and was hailed as âPeony of South Chinaâ by former Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai. It was listed as national intangible cultural heritage in 2008. Er Huang and Xi Pi are the two main tunes of Guangdong Han Opera. Its stage language is Zhongzhou dialect and Mandarin Chinese. It consists of seven roles including Sheng, Dan Chou, Gong, Po, Hongjing and Wujing. Its musical instruments are featuring with two-string fiddle, su gong and ti hu.
