The American writer and journalist Ernest Hemingway, who lived between 1939 and 1960 in Cuba, wrote his novel The Old Man and the Sea in the Havana suburb Cojimar, which earned him both the Pulitzer Prize and the Nobel Prize in Literature. Among other fish like sharks, dolphin and swordfish, the Cuban fishermen of Cojimar also try to catch the Blue Marlin, just like the old man in Hemingway�s novel.
