BEST 2 CU Buff, George King, congratulates Cason Turkaly, after the press conference. Tad Boyle and the CU men's basketball program "signed" Cason Turkaly, 6, to a letter of intent at a press conference on Friday. Cason Turkaly has Shwachman-Diamond syndrome (SDS), a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, bone marrow dysfunction, leukemia predisposition, and skeletal abnormalities. Cason lives in Blackhawk, Colo. and the Men's Basketball team has "adopted" him and will develop an ongoing relationship with him and make him a part of their team.(Photo by Cliff Grassmick/Digital First Media/Boulder Daily Camera via Getty Images)
