Bell High School varsity lineman (@@#62) Christian Pineda tries to boost the morale of his team in the field house during halftime while they were losing to cross town rival Huntington Park November 5, 2010. The cash–strapped football program has resorted to selling churros before school for $1 dollar each, raising much needed funds for the football program. Thanks to the corruption scandals in Bell, the trickle–down effect has caused many of the former donors to the football program to stop giving and the program is scrambling to make ends meet.
