SAPPORO, HOKKAIDO, JAPAN - 2009/06/15: Beer Hall at the Sapporo Beer Museum, the only beer museum in Japan, was opened in 1987 to give beer lovers more knowledge of beer and brewing. The exhibition allows guests to learn easily about the history of Sapporo Breweries and the beer industry in Japan. The building which now houses Sapporo beer Museum was constructed in 1890 and one of the precious cultural legacies of the Meiji Era. Sapporo Beer Museum has been selected to receive the official "Hokkaido Heritage" designation. Besides brewery tours, beer halls and restaurants give visitors a chance to sample the brews while eating "Genghis Khan" grilled lamb - the house speciality..
