One Way to Get Away from It All
Because he was weary of listening to beefs about the lowly position of the Cleveland Indians in the American League, Charles Lupica, 37-year-old Cleveland druggist, built this 4x4 platform atop a 16 foot pole on the roof of his drugstore and has retired to the solitary aerie. He plans to remain there until the Indians reach the top of the league totem pole. It all came about through a challenge during an argument on the merits of the team. Lupica accepted the dare and there he is to stay until his fellow tribesmen get him down.
