In the footsteps of Paul-Emile Victor

An Inuit on the shore of Sermilik Fjord in the winter, close to the present-day village of Tiniteqilaaq (150 inhabitants). At that time, the village was a camp comprising three peat houses. For thousands of years, ever since the arrival of their ancestors, who came from Asia via the Bering Strait and Canada following their instinct for hunting and game, Eskimos (now called Inuit) have lived on the ice sheet.
