Alexus Cruz, left and Jennifer Gutierrez, right, both try on shoes to match their new prom dresses. Every girl dreams of looking pretty and attending her high school prom but in some cases these dreams don't come true for lack of resources. For 55 LAUSD high school girls who are homeless or needy, these dreams came true when they were able to select from more than 100 gowns through the Assistance League of Los Angeles, Operation School Bell. "OSB" a philanthropic organization that throughout the year provides new clothes, shoes, backpacks, books and other items to low income and homeless elementary students attending schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
