McPherson Weds Hutton
(Original Caption) Aimee Semple McPherson, the noted evangelist, slipped away during the early hours of September 13th, and flew to Yuma, Arizona, with David Hutton, singing instructor in her Angelus Temple, where they plan to marry. The ceremony was performed in the plane at the Yuma Airport with Rolph McPherson, son of the evangelist. And his wife as witnesses. Although the marriage had been planned for three months, it came as a distinct surprise to the closest friends of the newly wed couple. Immediatley after the ceremony, the wedding party flew back to Los Angeles where the new Mrs. Hutton preached the morning sermon in the Angelus Temple. The new Mrs. Hutton is seen above with her husband at her new home in the Angelus Temple shortly after returning from Yuma after the wedding.
